K-12 PROGRAMS - SUMMER CAMPS
HARBOR BRANCH'S Division of Marine Education will be offering three summer camps this year:
HARBOR BRANCH Nature Camp (ages 8-10),
Everyday Ecology (ages 11-13), and
Marine Ecology (ages 13-14).
Each camp is designed to learn
about, and develop an appreciation for, the marine environment and its diverse plants and animals.
The proximity of Indian River Lagoon facilitates activities such as seining, sieving, snorkeling,
and boat trips. These activities will provide campers with exposure to a variety of habitats,
including seagrass meadows, mangrove forests, salt marshes, intertidal mudflats, sandy shores,
beach communities, and nearshore reefs.
