WELCOME TO THE HARBOR BRANCH ENGINEERING DIVISION

Harbor Branch's Engineering Division has been providing services to the government, commercial and scientific communities for over 20 years. Specialists recruited from all facets of the ocean community with decades of industrial, military, and academic experience in electrical, mechanical, ocean, optical, environmental and chemical engineering, naval architecture, instrumentation and film production comprise a uniquely powerful team. Our staff stays abreast of global activities by serving as adjunct faculty at a number of universities, serving in the U.S. Naval Reserves, and by providing consulting to a variety of government agencies and private sector industries.

We are making significant contributions in most areas of ocean technology including advanced vehicles, navigation, underwater imaging, oceanographic instrumentation, diving and life support, robotics and special tools, marine materials and corrosion, underwater acoustics, video and RF communications. Long-term research and development programs are underway searching for breakthroughs in these technologies.
