Tony Wadley
(Director of Aquaculture Systems & Facilities) -

Tony is in charge of the construction and maintenance of the Aquaculture facilities. He has been with HBOI since 1994.

His duties include management of the water and air supply for use in experiments and grow-out of marine life. He also has experience in construction of bio-filters, holding tanks, raceways and is in control of the discharge wastewater.

Prior to joining the staff at HBOI Tony was very active in commercial and sports diving, and owned a dive shop in Vero Beach. Tony is currently the Dive Safety Officer for the Aquaculture division.


Pete Stock
(Aquaculture Engineering Technician)

Pete is a systems engineering technician, playing an important role in the construction and maintenance of the division's aquaculture systems.

Pete joined the aquaculture staff in 1997 after a 20-year career as a professional Jai Alai player.



Jay Adams
(Aquaculture Engineering Technician) -

Jay has been part of the Harbor Branch aquaculture facilities staff since 1989 and assists in the construction and maintenance of aquaculture facilities.

He specializes in maintenance of electrical systems, and rebuilding of pumps and electric motors.


Jerry Corsaut
(Electrical Contractor, Volunteer)

Jerry Corsaut plays two different roles in the Aquaculture Division. As an independent electrical contractor, Jerry is responsible for installing most of the electrical systems in the aquaculture greenhouses. Jerry is also an avid aquaculturist and volunteers his time to the conch and spiny lobster research programs. He played a central role in the design of Harbor Branch's successful conch spawning system as well as assisting with the collection, husbandry and tank design of the spiny lobster research program. Jerry's lobster work includes post-larval collection and juvenile growout in HBOI, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
